Today, I spent the whole day finishing recording. I’m relieved that this is all over but I’m still self-concious at this point on how I’m going to reveal it. At this point of the night, I should be playing Pokemon (as I have now fallen into that routine this far into break) but the DS charger is nowhere to be found. So what I’ve been doing is listening to these songs over and over again. Right now, I abhor them. I can’t stand my music anymore.

     I thought I should be clever enough to think of an alias- something catchy that could very well be a name I will go under. I feel if I go by my own personal name, that would be too downright self-righteous. “The Terrible Tractors” is a chapter in Wes Anderson’s movie and Roald Dahl’s book, Fantastic Mr. Fox. This movie really resonated with me as I’m the kind of person who likes to relate himself into the scenario. Mr. Fox, however is a significant exception. I thought I was him in that movie- an egotistical bastard that tried to impress (and maybe please) everybody. He needed to tone down and that’s exactly what Boggis, Bunce and Bean had accomplished. In the chapter of The Terrible Tractors, his house and hill gets demolished by these three machines for he had stolen from these gentlemen. For some reason, I always found that catchy (Dahl, you witty bastard). The alliteration is pleasing and the thought and idea astounds me. This is why I’m taking this.

     Expect new music either later this month or early February :)

I need to find new hobbies, so I thought about creating a brand new tumblr (ikr) solely based off stories, ideas, opinions, etcetera, etcetera from my mind. The current stuff posted is from a long time ago from my other blog (of which I post the randomness and lovely chaos that amuse me) and I felt like I needed to organize my own stuff. This is probably more for my own personal benefit, but please feel more than free to look around.

I am really excited to announce almost all recording is done. The few weeks spent in Orange County gave me time to mix almost everything. I cannot be happier. I also saw Tron again for my third time with my friend- which might also account to my cheery mood.
